“Honey Bee Disease Identification and Management”

Steve Repasky (Via zoom)

As beekeepers, we all want to keep our bees healthy, so it is important to not only be able to identify their diseases but also to provide the appropriate management.

Stephen Repasky will present via Zoom “Honey Bee Disease Identification and Management,” and he is more than qualified to teach this subject. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science, is a certified Eastern Apicultural Society Master Beekeeper, current President of the Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association, author of the book titled “Swarm Management,” involved in numerous local and national beekeeping organizations, teaches beekeeping classes and workshops in the Pittsburgh area, and presents lectures on a variety of beekeeping topics at local clubs and many regional and national conferences around the United States. Stephen currently manages approximately 150 colonies and is involved in honey production, queen rearing and the selling of nucleus hives. We are fortunate to have him share his expertise on this important beekeeping subject.
