What is the MCBAPA?
The Montgomery County Beekeepers’ Association of Pennsylvania (MCBAPA), is an organization of hobbyist and professional beekeepers that serves Montgomery, Bucks and surrounding counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The mission of the association is to provide education, support, hands-on training and fellowship in all aspects of the beekeeping experience. We welcome experienced as well as novice beekeepers to participate in our monthly meetings, social events and field trips.

Register Your Hives!
Pennsylvania requires that every beekeeper in the Commonwealth be registered. The registration costs $10.00 for a two calendar-year period and covers all apiaries and hives owned by that person. Hive Inspections
Anyone selling bees needs to be inspected every year by the state.
